Telling a prospective buyer NOT to move to your town? The "Allergy Factor."

Everything looks great!

They have a move date.  They know what they want.  They're excited.  They love Austin.  They have SEVERE ALLERGIES.  So bad, in fact, this is why they have to move (doctor's orders).  And you have to tell them that Austin, Texas was named "The Fall Allergy Capital of America" by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

The "allergy factor" matters more to buyers than ever before.  In fact, it was one of two major considerations that determined where my parents decided to move recently.  I am now starting to educate myself on what specific allergens are present and a concern in Austin and Central Texas.  I found the following link very useful; and it directs you to a multitude of other resources.
